Some highlights

In the heart of Tuscany, Vorno is situated about 6 kilometers South of Lucca, 19 km North East of Pisa (airport), 25 km West to the Mediterranean coast (Viareggio) and to the East you will find Florence in about 60 km.

Lucca (says Wikipedia) is known as one of the Italian's "Città d'arte" (Arts town), thanks to its intact Renaissance-era city walls[ and its very well preserved historic center, where, among other buildings and monuments, are located the Piazza dell'Anfiteatro, which has its origins in the second half of the 1st century A.D. and the Guinigi Tower, a 45 meters tower that dates from the 1300s. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucca.

The landscape is Tuscany optima forma: hills, stone walls, floating grassland, vineyards, historical cities, villages and many, many, beautiful country houses.

On a short distance you can find the Nottolini Aquaduct, a stone canal of almost 3 km length and build on over 400 bows. It brought water from the mountains in the south to the city. It dates from the 19th century.
